The Challenge
GreenBite Co. wanted to disrupt the food delivery space with a sustainability-first approach. Their existing web-only platform had limited mobile engagement and no way to track or incentivize eco-friendly ordering behavior at scale.
Our Approach
We built natively in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose for a premium Android experience. A custom carbon footprint calculator was integrated into the checkout flow, with gamified rewards powered by Firebase. Google Maps API handled restaurant discovery and delivery routing.
The Result
GreenBite hit 100,000+ orders in Q1 after launch with a 4.7-star Google Play rating. The carbon tracking feature drove a 38% increase in conversion rate compared to the old web platform, and the app offset 15 tons of CO2 through partnered sustainability programs.
