The Challenge
FitLife Studios needed an app that could replace their expensive in-person trainers for remote members while maintaining accountability and personalization. The real-time form analysis feature was technically the most ambitious component — requiring low-latency ML inference on both platforms.
Our Approach
We chose Flutter for true cross-platform delivery with a single Dart codebase. TensorFlow Lite ran the pose estimation model on-device for 30fps form analysis with zero server roundtrip. HealthKit and Google Fit integration provided automatic health data sync on both platforms.
The Result
FitPulse hit 300,000 active users across both platforms and achieved a 4.9-star rating. The 71% 90-day retention rate is nearly double the fitness app industry average of 38%. Featured by both Apple and Google in their respective app store editorial picks.
